Event Description:
This is an American Cancer Society Relay For Life event in the wonderful community of Carpinteria. The event has all the regular wonderful, moving, fun, entertaining elements of a Relay for Life event. Carpinteria Relay also has the Franklin Trail hike in the evening where we light a massive HOPE sign on the side of a mountain (costumed characters do not need to do this hike), and also the signature of Carpinteria Relay, our Sunday morning Paddle Out For Hope ceremony on the beach, a unique paddle out ceremony that is very moving and reflects the community perfectly.
